The Wasp Mid Length surfboard is a great board to have in your quiver. Our mot popular Mid Length over the last decade. It’s very versatile in loads of wave conditions. Suitable for intermediate to advanced surfer in waves from 2ft to double overhead. Nick named the Fun Gun by customers due to it’s ability to take on big surf.
The Wasp Mid Length Features
This Surfboard is designed to take on just about anything you dare to throw it’s way. While other times still being a very playful cruisy model in the smaller surf. You can ride it 1+2 for a nice easy surf in 2-5ft or wack in the quad fins for overhead conditions. It has a forward midpoint but with less foam through the nose. This is so you can duck dive the wasp quite easily. in heavy conditions. Sizes as a Custom order are available from 7ft6″ to 8ft in length, 20″ to 22″ width and 2 1/2″ to 3″ in thickness.
The Board comes with a single to double concave with a spiral V through the pin tail. Rails can be pinched or fat depending on how advanced a surfer you are. The Wasp has a nice performance rocker but not to steep that it doesn’t still work when the waves are not so good. You can also order the Wasp as a thruster fin and quad fin setup.
Bottom contours are single to double concave through the tail with a rolled V pintail,.Rails are shortboard in style and quite pinched. Fin Setup is single and quad fin or 5 fin Tri/quad. Waves:
