Designed for intermediate to advanced surfers, the Wasp performs in anything from playful 2ft peelers to solid double-overhead surf. Customers have nicknamed it the “Fun Gun”—a testament to its ability to charge big waves without sacrificing maneuverability or enjoyment.
The Wasp Mid Length Features
The Wasp Mid Length is built to take on just about anything you’re willing to throw its way. In smaller surf it feels playful and cruisy, but when the waves step up, it transforms into a confident performer.
Set it up 1+2 for smooth, easy rides in the 2–5ft range, or switch to a quad fin setup when it’s overhead and you need that extra hold and drive.
With a forward midpoint but less foam in the nose, the Wasp strikes a perfect balance between paddle power and duck-diving ability—making it surprisingly manageable even in heavy conditions.
Available as a custom order in sizes from 7’6” to 8’0” length, 20” to 22” width, and 2 ½” to 3” thickness, this board adapts to your style and the waves you chase.
The Wasp Mid Length features a single-to-double concave running into a spiral V through the pin tail, giving you speed, drive, and smooth rail-to-rail transitions. The rails can be customized—pinched for more sensitivity if you’re a seasoned surfer, or fuller for extra forgiveness if you prefer added stability.
With its performance rocker, the Wasp is lively and responsive in quality surf, but not so steep that it struggles when the waves are less than perfect.
Fin versatility is another bonus—you can order it as a 2+1 fin setup for retro precision and control, or a Thruster/quad for speed and hold in bigger conditions.
