The Mini Simmons Surfboard is an iconic shape from the past that is still very relevant today. While the Classic shape hasn’t changed much over time our Mini Simmons has a more modern feel to the ride. Benefiting from years of experimentation we have eventually come up with a Board that ticks all the boxes, and looks classic under arm. However under the classic exterior this Twin Fin rides every bit like a modern performance Board.
Love them or hate them. If you love them you know nothing beets the feel of a Mini Simmons Surfboard under your feet. It’s a wild little beast of a Surfboard that most Surfers ignore. However it’s a board design i have had close to my heart for many years now. Unlike normal Surfboards. The Mini Simmons hull delivers a fast loose feel on top of the water that feels very exiting under your feet.
Our take on the Mini Simmons can be built with Future fin boxes for easy travel, but we can also craft it in true traditional style with glass-on keel fins, just like in the video above. With its straight outline and low rocker, this board is all about glide and speed — delivering a responsive feel, effortless flow, and a wave count that’ll keep you grinning all session long.
The Mini Simmons is a versatile little rocket built for all kinds of waves. From mushy 2ft rollers to hollow head-high walls, this shape thrives where others stall. Packed with hidden volume, the 5’10” comes in at 43L — giving you plenty of paddle power in a compact frame. The result? A short, skate-like feel underfoot that’s fast, playful, and full of flow.
Mini Simmons Features
The board feature the usual S deck configuration with the single concave between the fins and a slight hull to the nose. The Rails are Simmons like but more pinched with our subtle tweaks to the bottom rail that makes this board come alive. Rocker is very flat quite similar to the original Mini Simmons.
Custom Sizes are available from 5ft4″ to 6ft4″. If you would like a custom design just message me and i will send you a profile of your board before you order it. The Board comes with Future fin boxes as standard, However you can have FCS11 boxes in this board just mention this so i can give you an accurate quote.
