The Tail Gunner Mid-Length Surfboard
The Tail Gunner Mid Length was named due to the fully loaded tail full of fin setup options. You can ride as a Quad fin, thruster fin or Twin Pin.. Whichever fin setup you try the Tail Gunner is an excellent Mid Length performing well in all sorts of waves and conditions. The board has a unique Planning Hull witch provides a lot of lift and speed down the line. This blends out of the tail into a deep double concave with a slight displaced hull in front of the fins. This allows the board to ride fast and hold really well in steeper conditions.
As you can see the Tail Gunner has a unique rounded Pin tall. The tail fits the wave perfectly allowing great rail to rail turns and cutbacks. With a decent amount of volume and width makes this board catches waves easily. So the Tail Gunner is not just for hollow days but will surf average waves just as well. Tail Gunner Mid Features
The Planning hull starts right from the nose and enables a fast and easy wave catch. Then it delivers a lot of speed for you to play with. Rails lock fully into the wave due to the Hull giving it a slight chine area. Due to the planning hull the bottom has a slight catamaran look to it this gives a nice stable feel and as said earlier allows the rail to lock into the wave. It’s a great board for developing your turns and getting used to more advanced surfing.
Available in Custom sizes from 6f10″ to 7ft6″ i can play about with the width and thickness to suit your weight. Board shown is a 7ft4″ x 22″ x 3″ 53ltrs.
