I’ve been shaping the Predator for about 13years now but recently i have revamped the board  into what you see here, it makes for a fantastic Groveler or performance shortboard that you can ride a little shorter.than your normal Shorty.

Originally design for competition surfing it’s a great shape to get the most out of the surf, the wide hip give a little extra float so you can perform maneuvers on not so great waves so basically it’s a very good performance board for the average conditions we get a lot of in the UK. It’s very quick and maneuverable, it’s forgiving when you need it to be and great for tight turns. The Predator works well in a wide variety of conditions fro your 2ft beach break to your hollow reef break, it has a single to double concave bottom, comes it Square or Squash tail, Thruster, Quad fin  or both, The Size is fully customized to your spec obviously it is a hand shape so  volume is not shown on the board but i do have the rough shape on file so i can give you a rough volume on ordering.  You can alter the sizes,Shape, bottom contours,rail thickness even the volume in the foil to suit your surfing. It can be especially good as a First shortboard as i can alter the shape to be a little more soft and stable for you to learn on.  Most Shortboards are Machine shaped these days but i fell it’s important that the skill of Hand shaping is kept alive and i will be honest i love making these boards by hand so i can make each one specific to the riders ability and help them progress there surfing. You can order your Predator with either FCS11 or Future fins and it comes in a wide variety of constructions options, Epoxy, Eco Hemp, PU and more.
