Hi everyone it’s nearly the spring time and lots of new surfers will be starting to get back in the water. It could be time to ditch your Foamy Surfboard this year and move onto something that will help you progress much faster, or maybe your child is ready to give surfing a go and your a bit confused as to what to buy them. Well at ND Surfboards we have been working hard over the last few years developing a great range of learner boards with the help of local surf schools we have come up with some very interesting and progressive surfboards for you to have a look at.

The minimal
A great all round leaner surfboard that has been the go to learner board for years, we have fine tuned our Minimals to give you the best start possible and plenty of performance to take your progress up to intermediate level surfing.
Weemal
A very progressive surfboard the Weemal has become a favorite for the Grom surfers up here in the North East it’s packed with volume and easy to ride but takes you a lot further than a standard Minimal, you can duck dive it and ride it more like a shortboard which helps you progress quickly towards riding shorter more performance boards.
Grom ( Kids ) Surfboards
As a farther of two young boys who are into surfing i started to really think about producing some very good quality boards for kids with a very high performance standard, this is one of my sons on his way out for a surf on his favorite board his Grom Minimal custom built for his size. See this is the thing your Kids are all different with different needs so we produce a wide variety of boards for Grom Surfers. We do a Kids Minimal, Kids Shortboard and even a Kids Longboard which can all be customizes to suit your Child.
Don’t get sucked into thinking your child would be better off on a foamy for a while they are great for surf schools but very limited for your kids progress and what i have found is that kids progress very quickly with the right boards. They are much more adaptable than adults when it comes to surfing and you will find if you leaner to surf as a family they will quickly leave you behind in the white water.
